Prism Genesis is an extended play by American electronic and vaporwave artist Vektroid under the alias Fuji Grid TV released on August 2, 2011. The EP was first released through Tumblr on the same day as Black Horse / MIDI Dungeon, and Initiation Tape which Prism Genesis was promoted along as an "A-side" companion.[1] The EP is a chopped and screwed collage of various Japanese commercials taken from the 1980s, and is considered by fans to be one of the first Vaporwave releases to have a Signalwave aesthetic.
It was later remastered as Fuji Grid TV EX[2] in 2016 under the alias New Dreams Ltd., which is currently available through Vektroid's Bandcamp.[3] This version renames and remixes some of the songs, alongside adding a new track, "Virtual Big Turtle", to the EP.
