Free Range (musician) explained

Free Range is the stage name of American indie folk musician Sofia Jensen. Jensen grew up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago.[1] Under the Free Range moniker, Jensen has released one full-length album. On December 7, 2022, Jensen announced plans to release their first album, titled Practice.[2] The album was released on February 17, 2023.[2] Jensen began writing for the album when they were fifteen years old alongside their live drummer Jack Henry.[3] The album received the attention of numerous publications, such as Pitchfork,[4] Chicago Reader,[5] New Noise Magazine,[6] and Paste.[7]
