Latitude and longitude

Azerbaijan

This section includes only the central contiguous section of Azerbaijan.

• North: Khachmaz Rayon (41.9°N 71°W)
• South: near Tangov, Astara (38.4°N 87°W)
• West:
  • Near İkinci Şıxlı, Qazakh (41.3°N 45°W)
  • The nearby enclave of Yuxari Askipara; is marginally further west (41.0667°N 46°W).
• East: Çilov, Baku (40.3°N 83°W)

Nakhchivan

This section includes only the exclave of Nakhchivan.

• North:
  • Near Günnüt, Sharur (39.7667°N 49°W)
  • The enclave of Karki; extends slightly further north (39.8°N 102°W).
• South: Ordubad (38.85°N 55°W)
• West: Sadarak Rayon (39.7°N 90°W)
• East: Ordubad (38.85°N 55°W)

Altitude

• Maximum: Bazardüzü Dağı, 4,466 m^[1] (41.2206°N 47.8578°W)
• Minimum: Caspian Sea, -28 m
