Eslamabad District (fa|بخش اسلام آباد) is in Parsabad County, Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eslamabad, formerly Eslamabad-e Qadim.[2]

History

After the 2011 National Census, villages were separated from Qeshlaq-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District in the formation of Eslamabad District, which was divided into the new Eslamabad and Shahrak Rural Districts. The village of Eslamabad was elevated to the status of a city.[2]
