is a Japanese footballer currently playing as a winger for club Albirex Niigata, on loan from Yokohama F. Marinos.
On 13 November 2019, Matsuda was promoted to the first team from the 2020 season.[1] On 9 January 2020, he was announced at SC Sagamihara on loan.[2] Matsuda made his debut for Sagamihara against YSCC Yokohama on 27 June 2020.[3] He scored his first league goal against Fujieda MYFC on 4 July 2020, scoring in the 63rd minute.[4]
On 3 August 2020, Matsuda returned to Yokohama F. Marinos.[5] He made his league debut against Kashiwa Reysol on 8 August 2020.[6]
On 8 January 2021, Matsuda was announced at Omiya Ardija on loan.[7] He made his league debut against Mito HollyHock on 28 February 2021.[8]
On 21 December 2021, Matsuda was announced at Albirex Niigata on loan.[9] He made his league debut against Omiya Ardija on 26 February 2022.[10] Matsuda scored his first league goal against Iwate Grulla Morioka on 27 April 2022, scoring in the 44th minute.[11] On 14 December 2022, his loan was extended for the 2023 season.[12] On 27 December 2023, his loan contract was extended for the 2024 season.[13]
On 19 February 2018, Matsuda was called up to the Japan U17s.[14] On 29 May 2019, he was called up to the Japan U18s.[15]
