Echelus is a genus of eels in the snake-eel family Ophichthidae.

• Echelus polyspondylus J. E. McCosker & H. C. Ho, 2015 (Many-vertebrae snake eel) ^[1]
• Echelus uropterus (Temminck & Schlegel, 1846) (Finned snake eel)
