Dmitri Petrovich Dyuzhev (ru|Дмитрий Петрович Дюжев; born July 9, 1978) is a Russian film and stage actor and singer.[1] [2] [3]

Early life

Was born on July 9, 1978, in Astrakhan, in the family of actor Petr Dyuzhev and Ludmila Dyuzheva. In 1995 he graduated the "School of Gifted Children" and entered the GITIS (Directing Department, acting group, workshop by Mark Zakharov). Dmitri played Donevan in Boris Godunov. Rehearsals coincided with the shooting of the television series Bayazet, in which Dyuzhev was invited for one of the main roles, but Dmitri declined to act in the series.[4]

Career

Since 2006, Dmitry Dyuzhev is an actor of the Moscow Art Theatre. In 2015, Dmitry Dyuzhev made his debut as a theater director, staging the play Bench on the play of A. Gelman.

Personal life

On February 14, 2008, Dmitri married Tatiana Dyuzheva in a traditional Russian Orthodox ceremony held on July 20, 2008. They have one son.[5]

In January 2023, Ukraine imposed sanctions on Dmitri for his support of Russian invasion of Ukraine.[6] [7] In February 2023 Canada sanctioned Dmitri Dyuzhev.[8]
