Dizajrud-e Sharqi Rural District (fa|دهستان ديزجرود شرقي) is in Qaleh Chay District of Ajab Shir County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] It is administered from the city of Javan Qaleh.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,914 in 1,993 households.[4] There were 7,589 inhabitants in 2,155 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,839 in 2,127 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Chenar, with 1,277 people.[6]
