Desulfotignum Explained

Desulfotignum is a Gram-negative and strictly anaerobic bacteria with a single polar flagellum genus from the family of Desulfobacteraceae.^{[1] [2]}

Phylogeny

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)^[3] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)^[4]
