David Weil (showrunner) explained

David Weil (born 1989/1990)^[1] is an American television writer, producer, director and showrunner.^{[2] [3] [4] [5]} He is known for creating the Amazon Prime Video television series Hunters (2020–2023).^{[6] [7] [8] [9]} He is also known for creating the Amazon anthology miniseries Solos (2021).^{[10] [11] [12] [13]} He also co-created the series Invasion (2021–present) with Simon Kinberg for Apple TV+.^[14]

Weil grew up in Great Neck, New York.^[15] He is Jewish.^[16] He is also the grandson of Holocaust survivors.^[17]
