Concrete (perfumery) explained

Concrete, in perfumery, is a waxy mass obtained by solvent extraction of fresh plant material.[1] It is usually used for the production of absolutes.

Sources of Concrete

Concretes are produced from natural plant materials—mainly flowers. Some of the most popular natural flowers used are rose and lavender.
