Ciechanowice is a village (former mining town) in the administrative district of Gmina Marciszów, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 10km (10miles) north-west of Kamienna Góra, and 79km (49miles) west of the regional capital Wrocław.
After assumption of Polish rule in accordance with the Potsdam Agreement, the local populace was expelled by mid-1946, for new Polish settlers to take their place. [2]
