Charlotte Henrich Explained

Charlotte Henrich (born 30 August 2006) is a British sprinter.^[1]

Early life

Henrich was born in France, moving to the United Kingdom at five years-old.^[2] she attended Simon Langton Girls' Grammar School in Canterbury, Kent.^[3]

Career

She won the medal gold in the 400 metres at the 2022 European Athletics U18 Championships in Jerusalem at the age of 15 years-old.^[4]

She won silver in the individual 400 metres and the mixed 4x400m relay at the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.^[5]

She competed at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Lima, Peru, placing seventh in the final of the 400 metres.^{[6] [7]} Later in the championships she won bronze in the women's 4 x 400 metres relay.^[8] In November 2024, she was named by British Athletics on the Olympic Futures Programme for 2025.^[9]

Personal life

She has dyslexia.^{[2] [10]}
