Center Township is one of nine townships in Hancock County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 25,819 and it contained 10,909 housing units.[2]
Center Township was organized in 1831.[3] It was named from its position at the geographical center of Hancock County.[4]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.18%) is land and (or 0.82%) is water.[2] Lakes in this township include Roberts Lake. The stream of Little Brandywine Creek runs through this township.
