Cariniana Explained
Cariniana is a genus of trees in the family Lecythidaceae, first described as a genus in 1842.[1] [2] The entire genus is native to South America.[3] Many are of importance for timber production.[4] [5] [6] [7] Species of this genus may be known commonly as jequitibá.[8]
