Carew St John-Mildmay Explained
Carew St John-Mildmay[1] (2 February 180013 July 1878)[2] was Archdeacon of Essex[3] from 18 February 1862 until his death.[4]
The son of Henry St John-Mildmay, 3rd Baronet[5] he was born at Dogmersfield Park. He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford.[6] He held livings at Shorwell, Burnham-on-Crouch and Chelmsford.[7]
