Canton of Besançon-1 explained
The canton of Besançon-1 (fr|canton de Besançon-1|link=no, pronounced as /fr/) is an administrative division of the Doubs department, eastern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Besançon.[1]
It consists of the following communes:[1]
- Avanne-Aveney
- Besançon (partly)
- Chemaudin et Vaux
- Dannemarie-sur-Crète
- Franois
- Grandfontaine
- Rancenay
