Caniac-du-Causse (pronounced as /fr/, literally Caniac of the Causse; oc|Canhac del Causse) is a commune in the Lot department in south-western France.
In Caniac there is a very nice church which can be visited and where there is a pretty little crypt,classified as an historical monument.
The famous hermit Saint Namphaise, former Baron of Charlemagne,is said to have been buried there.
