The Campeonato Pernambucano Série A2 is the second level of football tournaments for the Pernambucano state clubs that do not play in the Campeonato Pernambucano First Division. The competitions are organized by the Pernambucan Football Federation. Usually, the champions of a division are promoted in the next year to the immediately upper level.[1]
The 2024 Série A2 was contested by 10 clubs. In the first stage, each team played the other nine teams in a single round-robin tournament. The bottom two teams were relegated to the 2025 Série A3.
The top two teams from the first stage advanced to the semi-finals, while the third through sixth teams advanced to the quarter-finals. The two finalists were promoted to the 2025 Série A1.
