Bardhaniq is a village in District of Gjakova, Kosovo. Bardhaniq is situated nearby to the villages Zhabel and Gërgoc.
Some linguists consider the name of the settlement as a development from proto-Albanian word bard (Albanian: bardhe), meaning white.[2] [3]
