Barbara Love Adrian (July 25, 1931 – February 2, 2014) was an American artist.[1]
Life
Adrian was born in New York City, the daughter of Allen Isaac Adrian (born Adrachinsky) and Mildred Brown. Her grandparents parents were Jewish emigrants from the Russian Empire.[2] She graduated from Hunter College, and Columbia University.[3] From 1968 to 2011, she taught at the Art Students League of New York.[4]
In 1972, Adrian married Franklin Creighton Tramutola.
