Bandarban Sadar (bn|বান্দরবন সদর) is an upazila of Bandarban District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[4]
Bandarban Sadar is located at 22.2333°N 92.1917°W. It has a total area of 501.98 km2.
As of the 2022 Bangladeshi census, Bandarban Sadar upazila had a population of 111,096. The ethnic population was 47,804 (43.03%), of which Marma were 26,628, Mru 7,280, Tanchangya 5,605, Bom 2,748, Tripura 1,771, Chakma 1,664 and Khiang 1,310.
Bandarban Sadar Upazila is divided into Bandarban Municipality and five union parishads: Bandarban, Kuhalong, Rajbila, Suwalak, and Tankabati. The union parishads are subdivided into 16 mauzas and 225 villages.[5]
Bandarban Municipality is subdivided into 9 wards and 69 mahallas.[5]
