Athletics at the 2011 Pan American Games – Men's 3000 metres steeplechase explained

The men's 3000 metres steeplechase competition of the athletics events at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on the 28th October at the Telmex Athletics Stadium.^[1] The 2007 champion Pan American Games Joshua McAdams of the United States, did not compete.

Qualification
