The championship has run under the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup moniker with sponsorship from Idemitsu since the 2017 season, having previously been contracted with Shell Advance between 2014 and 2016.[2] Alberto Puig has served as Director of the Asia Talent Cup since its inception in 2014.[3]
