Arab International University Explained

The Arab International University (AIU); ar|الْجَامِعَةُ الْعَرَبِيَّةُ الدَّوْلِيَّةُ|al-Jāmiʿat al-ʿArabīyat ad-Dawlīyah (previously: Arab European University) is a Syrian private university located in Ghabaghib, Daraa Governorate, Syria, founded in 2005. It was created under Presidential Decree No. 193 on the 06/05/2005.^[2]

The campus is located on the international highway between Damascus and Daraa, 37km (23miles) away from the capital, and after International University for Science and Technology^[3] toward Daraa. The total area of the campus is 211000m2.^[4]
