Amoimyrmex Explained

Amoimyrmex is a genus of leafcutter ants that occur in southern South America, specifically Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, and southern Brazil.^[1] All three of its species used to belong in Acromyrmex.^[2]
