The 2025 NFL draft will be the 90th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players. The draft is scheduled to be held around Lambeau Field and its adjacent Titletown District in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 24–26, 2025.[1]

Host city

Green Bay, Wisconsin, was chosen over Washington, D.C. as the host city on May 22, 2023.[2] The draft will be held around Lambeau Field, home stadium of the Green Bay Packers, and its adjacent Titletown District.

Selection order

The selection order for subsequent rounds will follow the order of the first round, except that teams with the same record and same playoff result will rotate among their respective groups. Also, 32 additional supplemental picks will be allocated between the ends of round 3 through 7 for a total of 254 picks.

Trades involving draft picks

In the explanations below (PD) indicates trades completed prior to the start of the draft (i.e. Pre–Draft), while (D) denotes trades that take place during the 2025 draft.

Round 2

Minnesota → Houston (PD). Minnesota traded a second-round selection as well as 2024 second- and sixth-round selections to Houston in exchange for a 2024 first- and seventh-round selections.[4]
Houston → Buffalo (PD). Houston traded Minnesota's second-round selection to Buffalo in exchange for a fifth-round selection, 2024 sixth-round selection, and WR Stefon Diggs.[5]

New Orleans → Washington (PD). New Orleans traded a sixth-round selection to Washington in exchange for DT John Ridgeway III and a seventh-round selection.[43]

2020 Resolution JC-2A picks

Since the 2021 draft, the league, under 2020 Resolution JC-2A passed in November 2020, rewards teams for developing minority candidates for head coach and/or general manager positions.[61] The resolution rewards teams whose minority candidates are hired away for one of those positions by awarding draft picks. These draft picks are at the end of the third round, after standard compensatory picks; if multiple teams qualify, they are awarded by draft order in the first round. These picks are in addition to, and have no impact on, the standard 32 compensatory picks.[62] Two picks were awarded for the 2025 draft pursuant to the resolution.
