The 2025 Major League Soccer season will be the 30th season of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top professional soccer league in the United States and Canada, and the 47th season overall of a national first-division league in the United States.

MLS expanded to 30 clubs this season with the addition of San Diego FC, an expansion team awarded in 2023.[1] The season will begin on the weekend of February 22, 2025. The league's 30 teams will be divided into the Eastern and Western conferences. The LA Galaxy or the New York Red Bulls will be the reigning MLS Cup champions.

All MLS games will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass for the third year as part of a ten-year partnership between MLS and Apple Inc. for the broadcast and streaming rights to all MLS and Leagues Cup games, as well as select MLS Next and MLS Next Pro games.[2]

The defending Supporters' Shield holders are Inter Miami CF, who set the all-time points record during the 2024 season.[3] The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, hosted by the United States, will take place during the middle of the season and include MLS participants Seattle Sounders FC and Inter Miami CF.[4]
