The 2025 Liga 3 will be the 1st edition of the third tier of Federación Peruana de Futbol.
The format for the 2025 Liga 3 has yet to be revealed.
A total of 37 teams will take part in the league. The 25 best-ranked teams of each department, with the exception of the champion and runner-up of the tournament, in the National Stage of the 2024 Copa Perú will be promoted. In addition, the 8 quarter-finalists of the 2024 Torneo de Promoción y Reserva and the four teams relegated from the 2024 Liga 2 will participate.[1]
Deportivo Municipal's disqualification from the 2024 Liga 2 caused the 2025 Liga 3 season to increase to 37.
