2024–25 Turkish Cup Explained

The 2024–25 Turkish Cup (tr|Türkiye Kupası) is the 63rd season of the tournament. Ziraat Bank is the sponsor of the tournament, thus the sponsored name was Ziraat Turkish Cup. The winners will qualified for the 2025–26 Europa League play-off round and the 2025 Turkish Super Cup.

Beşiktaş are the defending champions, after winning a cup in previous edition.

Competition format

The competition format was changed from previous seasons, and teams will played in new format of tournament.After 5 qualifying rounds, 24 teams will play in group stage (which returned for the first time since 2016–17 season), and a best of them will throw to the final stages.^[1]

16 Third League and 16 Regional Amateur League teams compete in this round. No seeds were applied in the single-leg round. The draw was held on 3 September 2024.^[8] The match schedules were announced on 4 September 2024.^[9] 11 seeded and 5 unseeded teams qualified for the next round. 11 Third League and 5 Regional Amateur League teams qualified to the next round. Biggest upset was Bucak Bld.Oğuzhanspor (153) eliminating Denizlispor (80). Lowest-ranked team qualified for the next round was Bucak Bld.Oğuzhanspor (153). The draw was held on 17 September 2024.^[11] The match schedules were announced on 19 September 2024.^[12] 16 seeded and 16 unseeded teams qualified for the next round. 9 Second League, 21 Third League, 2 Regional Amateur League teams qualified to the next round. Biggest upset was Tire 2021 FK (135) eliminating Beykoz Anadolu (40). Lowest-ranked team qualified for the next round was Yeşil Yalova FK (143). Highest-ranked team eliminated was Beykoz Anadolu (40).
