The 2024–25 Plunket Shield is the 96th season of the Plunket Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition that is played in New Zealand. The tournament started on 11 November 2024, and the final round of matches is scheduled to begin on 1 April 2025.[1] [2] Wellington are the defending champions, having won their 22nd title the previous season.[3]
