2021–22 Liga IV explained
The 2021–22 Liga IV was the 80th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a play-off to gain promotion in Liga III.
The counties were divided into seven regions, each consisting of six counties and the draw was made on 24 February 2022.[1]

- Muscelul Lerești promoted as 2019–20 Liga V – Argeș County Series North 1st place.
- Speed Academy Pitești promoted as 2019–20 Liga V – Argeș Series County Center 2nd place.
- Energia Stolnici promoted as 2019–20 Liga V – Argeș County Series South 1st place.
- Viitorul Bârla promoted as 2020–21 Liga V – Argeș County Series 1st place.
- Muscelul Câmpulung was renamed in the summer of 2020 as Inter Câmpulung.
- Juventus Bascov was renamed as Juventus Victoria 1992 Bascov.
- Vulturii Priboieni, AS Colibași, Gloria Berevoești, FC Argeș Pitești II, Basarabi Curtea de Argeș, CS Recea, Aripi Pitești and FC Dănuț Coman did not inscribe to Liga IV.
- ACS Bălilești was admitted on demand.
