The 2001–02 Miami Hurricanes men's basketball team represented the University of Miami during the 2001–02 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
The University of Miami men's basketball team, led by second-year head coach Perry Clark, played their home games at the Miami Arena as members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 24–8, 10–6 in Big East play to finish in a tie for second place. They lost in the semifinals of the Big East tournament to Pittsburgh, but received an at-large invitation to the NCAA tournament as No. 5 seed in the West region. Miami was upset by No. 12 seed Missouri, 93–80.[1]
