1997 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships – Men's 100 metre freestyle explained

The men's 100 metre freestyle competition at the 1997 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships took place on August 11 at the NISHI Civic Pool.^[1] The last champion was Gary Hall, Jr. of US.^[2]

This race consisted of two lengths of the pool, both lengths being in freestyle.^[3]
